IMPMD Series Seal-less Magnetic Drive Pump

The magnetic drive design eliminates the conventional method of shaft coupling. This makes the pump casing fully sealed from the drive end, eliminating the need for conventional sealing systems. There is no seal used, so there are no troublesome seal repairs, replacements, leakage, or production loss. The impeller and drive magnets are permanent rare earth magnets, which prevent slippage and ensure that full motor horsepower is converted into pumping power.
All pumps are rated for continuous duty with class “E” insulation. These pumps are centrifugal semi-open impeller type pumps and require priming before startup. SS-316 magnetic pumps are available up to 5 HP.
